SAR amplitude together with CCD (coherent change detection) can be used to detect changes in agricultural areas, such as seeding and harvesting seasons.

With polarimetric Sentinel-1 data the agricultural change maps could be produced at continental scale. Data analytics can be used to interrogate these large area products and extract only the information of interest.
